Mission Statement
The Greenview Christian Church is a non-denominational group of believers who strive to be a Bible teaching, caring sharing church with Christ as its’ head.
We Are Called By CHRIST to:
- Worship and glorify God through preaching, teaching, and utilizing our spiritual gifts.
- Evangelize our community and reach out to the lost worldwide.
- Encourage each other to be faithful as we work towards maturity in Christ.
- Be devoted to each other in love.
- Practice hospitality and friendship

GOD’S plan for the Church
With the completion of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection and His ascension, the church took shape to carry out what God had in store for the world. From a human perspective, the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is an unrealistic expectation laid on believers in Christ. But the key to fulfilling this command is found in relying on the power God gives us through His Spirit.
God instituted the church as a means to fulfill all that He desires us to do. The church helps equip believers for service in God’s kingdom. The church meets as the body of Christ to worship God in all His splendor. The church stands as a testimony to the salvation God offers to the world. So much could be said about the church. It is a marvelous structure when it is what God intends for it to be.
God has given us a description of the church in His Word. Certain absolutes concerning God’s church are present. We must be faithful to these absolutes. However, God has left some issues within the church to be determined by our opinions. Where these open issues exist, god expects us to respect the opinions of other believers. Let us always strive to be God’s church.
