Greenview Christian Church

With the plea for Christian unity as a foundational value, we also stand behind the following principles:

• We seek to be a congregation of believers who simply worship and serve Jesus Christ according to the pattern given in God's word.
• We not only seek unity of Christians (John 17), but we also strive to grow the body of Christ through evangelizing our community (Matthew 28:18-20).
• We choose to wear only the name Christian since it is by Jesus Christ that we are saved and He is the head of the church.
• We practice a baptism by immersion as we see it in the New Testament. We understand this to be a central part of coming to faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:37-39).
• We observe the Lord's Supper as a memorial to Jesus Christ each Sunday morning in following what we see practiced in the Book of Acts by the first century church.
