This is the plan of salvation as recorded in the bible, and answers the question:
What must I do to be saved?
Please read this, study it and use it for someone who needs Christ as their Savior.
- “I must realize that I am a sinner, as are all men.” John 1:8-10
- “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD.” Romans 3:23
- “I must accept the fact that my sin will condemn my soul and that Christ is the only answer to the problem of sin.” Acts 4:12 - 1 John 1:7
- “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
- “I must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ .” Acts 16:31 - Hebrews 11:6
- “For GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
- I must repent for my sins. Luke 13:3,5; Luke 15:7; Acts 2:38; Acts 17:30 ; 2nd Peter 3:9; 1st Peter 3:11; Luke 1;17 -20.
- Godly sorrows brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2nd Corinthians 7:10
- I must CONFESS my faith in Christ. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 8:38; 1 Timothy 6:12-13; 1 John 4:15
- Romans 10:9-10 “that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord. It is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
- I must be BAPTIZED. Mathew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16; John 3:5; Acts 2:38; Acts 16:33; Acts 8:36-39; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:27; Ephesians 4:5; Romans, 6:4-7 “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may have a new life. If we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.
- For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.”
- If we are FAITHFUL until death, then the Lord will take us to Himself. 2 Peter 1:5-12; Revelation 2:10, 26,27; Revelation 3:10, 21
- Matthew 24:12-13 “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow old, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
